Matthew has been caring for patients for more than twenty years, and combines his wealth of patient-care experiences with his kind temperament to foster a trustworthy, continuous care relationship. He draws from years of nursing service in the Intensive Care Unit at one of Arizona’s top Academic Hospitals, University Medical Center.
Matthew was a flight nurse providing emergency response and trauma care across Southern Arizona. He started his career as a National Park Law Enforcement Ranger, protecting many of Americas more cherished lands.
Happily married and the proud father of two, Matthew and his wife fell in love with Flagstaff decades ago, are delighted to now call it home, and continue to contribute to the Northern Arizona community.

FNPs are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) that provide patient care across the lifespan. With a Masters of Science in Nursing, the scope of practice ranges from diagnosis and treatment of acute issues, management of chronic conditions, and health prevention. FNPs work across different specialties, in various healthcare environments and care for patients of all ages. While the scope of practice varies state-to-state, in Arizona FNP’s are licensed to practice independently to perform medical exams, prescribe medications and equipment, order referrals and therapy, and order and perform diagnostic tests.
